<Overview>
The FW series is our first waterproof connector product. It meets the dustproof/waterproof performance standard of “IP67”.

This series is the smallest of its kind, featuring a 5.0 mm pitch waterproof connector. When mated, it achieves a height of 8.9 mm and a length of 34.5 mm, making it ideal for connections/wiring in confined spaces.

Despite its small size, to ensure stable connections, the crimp terminals utilize the same type of crimp three-point contact developed by us, thus offering high connection reliability. Furthermore, not only the terminal shape but also the connector provides a clear click sensation, enabling reliable assembly. The fastening prevents accidental disengagement and maintains a stable connection.

This series has been developed with consideration for reducing user working hours. The crimp terminals are common for both male and female types, and the crimp applicator can be used for both male and female terminals. Additionally, the sealed cable/sealing ring is supplied pre-installed in the housing, allowing users to simply insert the crimped wire harness for assembly. Furthermore, the housing is designed with a shape for cable tie fixation. Moreover, by using floating pins (optional product) near the cable insertion holes, the connector can be configured without changing the number of poles, resulting in a very user-friendly product.

The number of poles is 2, 3, or 4, and the housing color can be selected from three types: white, red, and blue. The sealed cable is developed with three colors for the outer coating: black, light blue, and pink. Increasing the number of color variations improves visibility during work.
　

We have also developed branch/relay type products as part of our waterproof connector product development. By enabling branch connections, it is ideal for saving wiring. Its compact and low-profile design, even for the branch relay type, maintains the concept of reduced size, accommodating a minimum duct diameter of φ32.6mm. In addition to branch/relay types, we will enhance the variations of waterproof connectors, such as the number of poles. We will strengthen promotion, positioning it as a strategic product, and expect it to expand into equipment and markets that have not adopted our products until now.
